Most guys are so starved for connection, they’ll ignore glaring red flags just to be with a woman.
But if you’re trying to become a high-value man, you need to be selective—not desperate.
After 25 years in the dating trenches, I’ve seen guys lose years of their life chasing girls with obvious warning signs.
I’ve also seen great women tossed aside over small quirks. So I created a color-coded system to break it all down:
- 🔴 Red: Run for the hills. Serious deal-breakers.
- 🟠 Orange: Proceed with caution. Context matters.
- 🟡 Yellow: Potential concern. Just pay attention.
- 🟢 Green: Not a problem. You’re fine.
Some standouts?
- Mental instability: 🔴 Red. Doesn’t matter how hot she is—it’ll drain your energy and wreck your peace.
- Victim mentality: 🔴 Red. It’s a worldview issue. Toxic. Stay away.
- Friends with her ex: 🟠 Orange. Risky—especially if they’re close or recently broken up.
- OnlyFans career: 🟠 Orange. Depends what she’s doing and how it affects her view of men.
- High body count: 🟡 Yellow. Context and lifestyle matter more than the number.
- Astrology: 🟢 Green (personally 🟡 Yellow for me). Harmless for most, annoying for the hyper-rational.
- Talks marriage on the first date: 🟢 Green. Shows long-term thinking, not clinginess.
- Used to party a lot: 🟡 Yellow. The past is the past—if she’s truly grown out of it.
The biggest takeaway?
Most “red flags” aren’t black and white. They exist on a spectrum. You need to judge how she shows the trait, not just if she has it.
Don’t memorize this list. Understand the psychology behind the red flags.
That’s how you date like a high-value man—with discernment, not desperation.
