Stop projecting negative, insecure frames into the world.
When you dissect a set by whining about how a girl freaked out or how a situation was weird, you are sub-communicating that you are a man who is accustomed to rejection.
The underlying narrative of your existence should be absolute and unwavering: you are highly attractive, women like you, and they have always liked you.
Your conversational details should reinforce this reality. For example, I never tell a woman she has a resting face that looks unapproachable. If she claims she has one, I tell her I don’t believe in it because every time a woman talks to me, she is smiling.
If people complain that New Yorkers are inherently cold, I tell them everyone has been incredibly warm to me. This isn’t about bragging; it is about projecting a life history where you are consistently lucky and desired.
If your foundation is solid and you aren’t creeping women out, your main bottleneck is that your sets are too soft and friendly. You are running interactions that will only land the women you are “supposed” to get, completely closing the door on the women who are out of your league.
To break out of this polite plateau, you have to ratchet up the polarization—but you must do it incrementally.
Think of it like learning poker.
As a beginner, I made a pitiful but disciplined profit by playing incredibly tight, folding almost every hand, and waiting for the absolute best cards. My coaches, however, played a reckless, hyper-aggressive style that made ten times more money.
If I had jumped straight from a tight style to their chaotic aggression overnight, I would have completely snapped and gone broke.
Instead my coach taught me to loosen up by a tiny margin, check the results, and adjust. When the results improved, I loosened up a fraction more, layering in risk bit by bit until I became a loose, unafraid player.
Apply this exact poker strategy to your dating life. Do not start throwing out crazy, offensive insults. Simply force yourself to be 5 percent more polarizing than you are comfortable with.
In your next session, commit to delivering just one sharp man-to-woman tension builder within the very first minute. In a later session, focus entirely on introducing nonsexual physical contact to establish that you are a physical man.
The keystone metric to ratchet up is cockiness. Once you step 5 percent beyond your comfort zone in confidence, your negative frames disappear, and being physical or direct suddenly becomes completely congruent.
When you tease a woman too much, the interaction gets better and better, she compliments you, touches you, talks about sex, and then you throw one more tease and the rubber band instantly snaps. She slams her drink down, screams, and runs to the bathroom.
You have to find the right balance. Take the risk, layer in the polarization drop by drop, and find the sweet spot.
