In any effective interaction, the same emotional journey is likely to be present.
The model I prefer for explaining this journey involves four main stages: Open, Premise, Evaluation, Narrative, and Close.
Here’s how it works…
Open & Premise
Start by establishing a “man-to-woman” premise, subtly letting her know this is a playful, engaging interaction between a man and a woman.
Inserting premise also lets her know that the interaction is non-platonic.
It’s not about showing direct interest; rather, you’re setting the frame that if you’re interested, it’s in a man-to-woman dynamic.
This stage involves light teasing to create initial attraction.
Evaluation
The next phase, Evaluation (once known as Qualification), is about letting her win you over gradually.
Teases continue, but now with a twist—playfully challenging her and assessing her responses.
For example, if she’s engaging and sharing more about herself, she’s qualifying herself to you naturally.
This balance of attraction and evaluation creates a sense of curiosity and intrigue.
Narrative
In more extended interactions, the Narrative phase becomes important.
This is where a deeper connection starts to form, building a shared story.
Even in shorter encounters, a bit of narrative—consider how she might describe meeting you to her friends—adds depth and enhances the bond.
This storytelling often strengthens over time, becoming more significant in relationships.
Close
Finally, there’s the Close, which can mean anything from exchanging numbers, to sex, to relationship.
Ideally, you want to reach this stage after establishing some evaluation, ensuring the interaction has progressed naturally.
The key is flexibility.
There’s no rigid timeline for moving between phases—gauge her responses.
And remember, always keep a mix of teasing and sincerity throughout, letting each phase evolve naturally to keep the interaction engaging and fun.
