My WORST Experiences Doing Cold Approach for 25 Years

When you decide to improve your cold approach skills to become advanced with women, you are actively choosing to step out of the safe, polite bubble most people fall into.

With that choice comes chaos. If you push the boundaries long enough, you will accumulate war stories—but every single one of them is a building block to becoming the man you want to be.

Sometimes the chaos is logistical. I once successfully approached two different girls on the same weekend, only to realize too late that they were roommates.

I showed up for my Saturday date, and my Sunday date opened the door in a towel while her roommate was in the shower. It turned both interactions into bizarre situations.

But when you operate from a place of pure abundance, even a logistical disaster becomes just a funny story.

Other times, the chaos comes from the environment. Early in my game journey, I used peacocking—wearing striped cowboy hats, feather boas, platform gothy shoes—and I would crush it at bars without ever ordering a single drink.

Bartenders and insecure guys absolutely hate a man who refuses to fade into the background. I’ve been yanked out of a venue by a power-tripping bouncer who made up a fake complaint just because he hated how well I was doing with women.

I’ve had a drunk boyfriend try to follow me and six of my friends home because his girl dumped him on the spot after I opened her.

You have to realize that anytime there is a social consequence, it’s usually because you chose to push the envelope. I almost ended up in a physical altercation at a Las Vegas club because my girlfriend and I were flirting with a woman for a potential threesome and the people around her got jealous.

I owned the risk of that interaction because I wanted the outcome.

Even when you take a hit defending a student—like having a psycho girl throw a sharp high heel at my face because I called out her toxic behavior—you derive your self-esteem from your refusal to back down.

Stop hiding from the drama and the awkwardness.

The consequences are nothing compared to the massive reward of living an unfiltered, abundant lifestyle.
