The Hard Truth About Money and Dating

Most men believe that getting rich will solve their dating problems.

It’s a seductive belief—and it’s partly true. Money gives you access. Money gives you logistics. Money can boost your lifestyle.

But if you lead with money, it backfires.

I’ve coached thousands of successful, wealthy men who still struggle with women. Not because they lack resources. But because they hide behind them. Because they think money entitles them to sex. Because they view women through the paranoid lens of “gold digger or genuine?”

That mindset kills game.

Women don’t care what’s in your bank account.

They care how it feels to be around you. Your lifestyle is a plus, but it’s not the main thing that attracts them to you.

It’s your presence, your story, your energy.

Lead with that. Lead with you.

Here’s the fix if you’re a wealthy man underperforming with women:

  • Stop identifying as a “rich guy.” You’re an awesome guy who happens to have money.
  • Delay the money reveal. Make sure she likes you before she sees the lifestyle.
  • Invest wisely. Get coaching, optimize your style, work with trainers—use money to become more attractive, not just appear richer.
  • Don’t confuse access with ability. Soho House doesn’t make you charismatic.
  • Be selective. Don’t settle for the first girl who’ll date you. Choose like a man with options.

Money’s just leverage.

If you’re already attractive, it amplifies you. If you’re not—it masks you. And she will feel the difference.

Lead with game. Let money be the cherry on top.
