Women Secretly Admire Arrogant Behavior (Though They Won’t Admit It)

Looksmaxxing is the ultimate lie for guys who want an excuse to stay in their rooms instead of talking to women.

It’s a topic populated by people who have effectively given up on themselves, convinced that if they just fix their jawline or get invasive surgery, the girls will suddenly start falling from the sky.

It doesn’t work that way.

The reality is that looks matter, but only for about the first fifteen seconds of an interaction. A good-looking guy might get a slightly longer window of attention, or a woman’s friends might be less protective of her when he approaches, but the second he opens his mouth, the clock starts.

If he has no game, you can literally see the light dim in a girl’s eyes as she realizes you’re no fun. Once you’ve hooked her attention, the rest of the interaction is 100 percent about your skill, not your face.

The biggest danger of looksmaxxing is the psychological opportunity cost. I’ve seen countless guys say they’ll start approaching once they reach their goal weight or “fix” a flaw.

That is a trap.

Instead, you should be gamemaxxing while you work on your health.

I’m 5’7″ and facially average at best, yet I had slept with hundreds of attractive women before I even realized being short was supposed to be a disadvantage. I didn’t need to fix my face, because I had objective proof in the real world that my game worked.

Obsessing over every minor physical flaw only creates insecurity, and insecurity is an active repellent to women. You become the weird guy in the nightclub line analyzing people’s facial symmetry instead of actually engaging with the environment.

Women are evolutionary wired to look for social status, competence, and protection, things you convey through your behavior, not your face.

If you want to maximize your appearance in a healthy way, stick to the low-hanging fruit: hit the gym, get a stylish haircut, wear clothes that actually fit, and take care of your skin.

These basics give you 80 percent of the results with 20 percent of the effort. Anything beyond that is usually just a way to delay the hard work of building character and taking rejections.

Stop trying to optimize your chin and start optimizing your social momentum. You don’t need a model’s face to get elite results . . . you just need to stop making excuses and get into the game.
